Most of the snake species in Maryland are totally harmless. Snakes usually enter the home in May (looking for mice) and in October (to hibernate). The most common species to invade homes is the black rat snake. Locating a snake in your home is like finding a needle in a haystack. Arriving at the home during or immediately after a sighting yields better results. After the snake is removed we will locate all possible entrances and seal them. We can also eliminate mice which we usually find in snake-infested homes.
